About e-beam
e-beam is an Australian-made LVL engineered from sustainably sourced timbers for Australian construction conditions. With longer lengths and a strength-to-weight ratio higher than timber or steel beams for the same application, e-beam can often eliminate the time and cost of crane hire.
e-beam is designed and made to exceed the requirements of all relevant Australian standards. Wesbeam’s blue e-beam LVL has many advantages over traditional building products, including its uniformity of engineering properties.
All Wesbeam LVL is Australian made with wood sourced from Western Australia, designed to span further, carry greater loads and withstand the tough Australian climate.
Wesbeam LVL is treated in the glue lines with a pesticide to resist termite attack to Treatment Level e2s (Bifrenthrin Glueline). H2 LOSP (Light Organic Solvent Preservative) treatment is suitable for use in H2 Hazard Environments providing protection for above ground indoor applications.
