About Welshpool - Commercial
Established in 2004, Big River Group Welshpool services the Western Australian construction market, specialising in formwork and civil infrastructure. We’ve built strong relationships with WA’s major formworkers, civil contractors and commercial construction companies, supplying products to some of the state’s key road, rail and infrastructure projects – as well as multi-residential and commercial builds across the Perth metropolitan area and regional WA.
Our team combines local industry knowledge with the backing of a national network, supported by crane truck delivery direct to site, free material estimation from plans and a cut-to-size service on sheet and timber products. Welshpool is also part of a growing Big River network in Perth, with Johns Building Supplies just around the corner and our Bellevue Trade Centre around 10 minutes away.
Our Product Range
Our Formwork range is one of the most comprehensive in Perth – including the Deckply range, Formwork LVL including FormBEAM LVL and e-form, Australian-made ArmourForm formply, ArmourDeck steel decking, RedEdge edgeboard, InfillPlus Panels, and a full range of formwork accessories including props, tie bar, nuts and washers. Recent projects include the Armadale Line Upgrade, where our team supplied Deckply, Formwork LVL and a large volume of cast-in formwork accessories, along with residential concrete work in Cottesloe.
Our Cladding range covers exterior wall solutions for multi-residential and commercial builds – from James Hardie fibre cement through to the MaxiWall AAC Panel System and Helix AAC panels, composite cladding, timber cladding, metal cladding, lining and cladding accessories.

Getting Here
Big River Welshpool is at 255 Treasure Road, Welshpool WA 6106, in Perth’s Welshpool industrial precinct, roughly 9 km from the Perth CBD. Treasure Road runs off Welshpool Road, close to Orrong Road and the Roe Highway interchange.
From Roe Highway (SR3): Exit at Welshpool Road and follow it to Treasure Road.
From Perth CBD or Orrong Road: Follow Orrong Road south towards Roe Highway, then connect to Welshpool Road and turn onto Treasure Road.
From Tonkin Highway, Leach Highway or the airport: Connect to Roe Highway or Orrong Road and follow signs for Welshpool Road, then turn onto Treasure Road.
