About ArmourForm Formply - F22
ArmourForm F22 is Big River’s premium formwork plywood, manufactured at our Grafton mill from Australian hardwood. Engineered for maximum reuse cycles, ArmourForm delivers consistent performance across commercial, civil, and residential formwork applications. The F22 stress grade ensures structural reliability for concrete forming, with film-faced or anti-slip surface options available. ArmourForm is certified to AS/NZS 2269 and backed by EWPAA quality monitoring.

When NOT to Use This Product
- Use a higher engineering grade Armourply Hardwood Stress Grade F27 for heavier duty commercial applications. Armourply “The world’s strongest plywood” is manufactured using plantation and regrowth eucalypt veneers. Manufactured under the PAA/JAS-ANZ third party audited quality control program to Australian Standard AS2271, it is designed, tested and approved to tolerate extremes of heat and humidity and to resist shrinkage. How many reuses can I get from ArmourForm F22?
With proper care and storage, ArmourForm F22 film-faced plywood typically achieves 20+ reuses for wall formwork and 10–15 for slab formwork, depending on conditions and concrete mix.
What is the difference between F22 and F17 formwork plywood?
F22 has a higher stress grade than F17, meaning it can span greater distances between supports and handle higher concrete pressures. F22 is specified for most commercial work; F14 and F17 is suitable for residential and light commercial.
