When NOT to Use This Product

  • Use a higher engineering grade Armourply Hardwood Stress Grade F27/F22 for heavier duty applications. Armourply “The world’s strongest plywood” is manufactured using plantation and regrowth eucalypt veneers. Manufactured under the PAA/JAS-ANZ third party audited quality control program to Australian Standard AS2271, it is designed, tested and approved to tolerate extremes of heat and humidity and to resist shrinkage. Its tolerance of changes in ambient temperature and its toughness make Armourply hardwood ideal as flooring for hard-wearing areas, and is ideal for mezzanine floors. → See ArmourDeck Steel Formwork

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How many reuses can I get from ArmourForm F17?

With proper care and storage, ArmourForm F17 film-faced plywood typically achieves 20+ reuses for wall formwork and 10–15 for slab formwork, depending on conditions and concrete mix.

What is the difference between F17 and F14 formwork plywood?

F17 has a higher stress grade than F14, meaning it can span greater distances between supports and handle higher concrete pressures. F17 is specified for most commercial work; F14 is suitable for residential and light commercial.

Is ArmourForm available with anti-slip coating?

Yes. ArmourForm is available in both film-faced (smooth, high reuse) and anti-slip (textured, for working platforms and walkways) finishes.

Big River has been our go-to supplier for formwork and structural ply for over five years. Their crane truck delivery saves us time on every job, and the estimation team is spot on with quantities. It's rare to find a supplier that actually understands what builders need.
