Broadbeach Waters House

Broadbeach Waters House

Broadbeach Waters House, Gold Coast - Residential

Broadbeach Waters Residence, Gold Coast

This stunning family home is located a short distance from the beachfront and the nearby Oasis Shopping Centre. An architectural marvel, this home features everything a modern family could need in home design, features and proximity to amenities.

The home’s standout style has bold lines and finishes that has attracted the recognition of architects and builders nationwide. Inside it features an open and expansive design that suits the laid-back, coastal living environment the Gold Coast is famous for. Inside the property Greg Read, from the award winning Read Project Services, selected Big River Spotted Gum ArmourFloor. This timber flooring solution was chosen for its attractive natural look, excellent resistance to shrinkage and stability in air-conditioned environments.

The 138 x 14mm thick engineered eucalypt hardwood floor boards provide a stunning balance alongside the modern fittings and contrasting natural granite benchtops. Supplied raw, the ArmourFloor was sanded and finished on site with a water based satin polyurethane coating. This finish brings the best out of the natural grains, highlighting the unique variations and hue. “We fixed Big River RAW directly to concrete slab,” said Greg Read, “and laid the boards straight out of the packs randomly without any need for board selection. The stairs were then finished with Big River nosing in Spotted Gum to match.” And with a lifetime warranty this beautiful style will look great for years to come.
