About FLAMEfixx dFx®
FLAMEfixx dFx® is an H3 treated Radiata Pine timber solution developed for construction in bushfire-prone environments. Its patented dFx® process technology combines a durable wood preservative and proprietary fire retardant into a single treatment solution.
Extensively tested to meet BAL-40 requirements under AS 3959-2018, FLAMEfixx dFx® provides a timber option for projects where bushfire performance, durability and natural timber aesthetics are important. The product has also been tested to AS/NZS 1530.3, achieving a smoke generation value of 1 and spread of flame value of 0.
FLAMEfixx dFx® structural timber is edge-branded for identification, displaying the FLAMEfixx dFx® logo, BAL rating, H3 Hazard Class, treatment plant number, chemical identification number and relevant Australian Standards.
Available in structural and decking applications, the range includes MGP10 and F7 graded products in multiple dimensions and lengths. FLAMEfixx dFx® is backed by a 25-year performance warranty against fungal decay and termites when installed in exterior, above-ground applications.
Manufactured from plantation-grown Radiata Pine sourced from continuously replenished forests, the product combines bushfire performance with a renewable timber resource.
